    Report Cards - April 2012

    POSTED: 5 April 2012, 18:21

The District and our schools have been advised that formal report cards are to be issued for all students on or before April 30, 2012.

    Secondary Schools

Semestered schools (Esquimalt, Lambrick Park, Mount Doug, Reynolds, Spectrum, Victoria High) will issue report cards following the original schedule for Term 3 reports cards.  The report card will contain all first semester final marks, as well as marks to date for semester two subjects.

Linear schools (Oak Bay and SJ Willis Education Centre) will issue report cards indicating student progress from September to April.

All secondary report cards will reflect work habits, letter grades or percentages as is past practice.

    Middle Schools

Report cards will reflect student progress from September to April, and indicate work habits, letter grades and performance scales as is past practice.

    Elementary Schools

Report cards will reflect student progress from September to April including work habits, performance scales, and/or comments as is past practice.  Grades 4 and 5 cards will indicate progress to date including work habits, letter grades and performance scales as is past practice.

International students will receive a copy of their report card directly from the school.  As well, a copy of the report card will be sent to the Victoria International High School Programs office.  VIHSP will legalize and/or forward these report cards to the natural parents in the student’s home country or to the student’s agent for distribution.
