Camp Victoria ESL Summer Program
Learn English, meet Canadian students, and experience a summer of sunshine and fun.
The Program
- For participants 11 – 18 years old
- 6 weeks in July & August each year, but you may attend for 2, 3, 4, or 5 weeks any time within the 6 week period
- Intensive ESL with over 20 hours per week of English language development
- Includes various exciting local cultural activities
- Monday – Saturday, 9:00 am – 4:00 pm
- Participants are placed in classes based on age and English language ability
- Instruction focuses on developing skills in reading, writing, listening, and speaking, with emphasis on communication in English for specific purposes and "active learning"
The Experience
- Activities are led by professional facilitators and assisted by peer leaders
- Activities may include: downtown walking tour, visits to local cultural sites, hiking, swimming, crafts, sports, and other summertime events
- Stay with a warm, friendly, and supportive Canadian host family

- A Valid Travel Document (passport) is required to attend, but you do not need a study permit
