Our Academic Middle School Program is intended for students who want to graduate in Canada, receive credits towards Middle School studies or develop English language.
Students are fully integrated with Canadian students and will benefit from peer group and advisory sessions. Students will also receive support to enhance academic achievement and skills acquisition.
Middle schools provide a smoother transition from elementary to secondary school. Middle school students follow a curriculum that includes academic and exploratory courses.
Exploratory courses include:
- Fine Arts: general music, drama, dance
- Applied Skills: technology education, home economics
- Information Technology: computer skills and data management
The Greater Victoria School Program welcomes International students at 10 Middle Schools.
Each school has an average population of 500 students and runs from Grades 6-8.

A full-year program runs from September – June. To attend an orientation, students will need to arrive the week prior to the start of school.
